The perfect way to collaborate on a text document and keep everyone literally on the same page.

This has been covered before, of course, but it's always good to see more research on the subject. The MacArthur Foundation has just released Mizuko Ito's latest study about online socializing, and found that it's an important and healthy part of youth communications these days, and politicians and parents who freak out over the amount of time kids spend chatting with each other online are overreacting. Hopefully, with more studies like this, we can get politicians to stop trying to ban social networks in school, and recognize that it can be a healthy part of the way kids communicate.

The LIFE Photo Archive just announced by Google includes some nice shots of Maine folks. They were taken by Bernard Hoffman for a feature called "Winter in Maine," which appeared in the March 9, 1942, issue of the magazine. Just 16 of the 67 photographs were published.

I’m pleased to announce our first Wordpress plugin – Shared Items Post

This plugin enables you to automatically post your Google Reader shared items to your blog on a schedule you set (daily, weekly, monthly).

Just about everything is configurable - post title, category, author, header, footer, etc, etc. You can see some of these different options in my sample posts here and here.

I think it is a great way to generate useful blog content without any additional work. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the forums.
