I've previously written about Google Apps for Your Domain. But recently Google added a feature to Blogger that would allow for a complete hosting package under your domain name.

Blogger announced support for using a custom domain just over a week ago. With Blogger and Google Apps for Your Domain you could now have an easy website blog and email for just the annual fee associated with a domain name. In fact, you can buy a domain during the sign up process for Google Apps for Your Domain or you can bring your own domain.

Blogger has always worked pretty well. But the latest version is a nice improvement over the old version. It has most of the basic features anyone might want in a blog. Adding photos is easy. And with a little knowledge of adding code to a Blogger template and the snippets from Google Gadgets For Your Webpage then you can have pretty much anything you like for very little.
